Media

Engineering, explained.

I am regularly invited to contribute to television, radio and print media on flooding, resilience and engineering. My aim is to provide clear, evidence-based explanations that help people understand what happened, why it matters and what can be learned from it.

Discussing What Matters

Flooding, infrastructure and resilience issues are often complex. My role is to help audiences understand what happened, why it happened and what lessons can be learned, without losing the technical detail that matters.

Having experienced flooding first-hand in 2007, I understand that engineering decisions often have real human consequences. Equally, having started and grown businesses from a young age, I can speak openly about the challenges, opportunities and lessons that come with entrepreneurship and leadership.

My primary focus remains engineering, business leadership and supporting our clients. However, where there is a good fit with the subject matter and audience, I am always happy to discuss opportunities to contribute.

"Having someone who can explain why a flood happened, accurately and in plain language, on a live broadcast, matters."
