What began as an attempt to solve one flooding problem has grown into a group of businesses built around engineering, resilience and helping people make informed decisions.

How it fits together

The FPS Group consists of two separate businesses.

FPS Environmental helps clients understand risk through consultancy, engineering and technical advice. Flood Protection Solutions helps clients manage risk through products, installation and implementation, and operates one of the UK's leading specialist water pump retailers, floodandwaterpumps.co.uk.

Products and protection

Flood Protection Solutions was the first business in the group. It began with flood resilience products and gradually expanded into a national operation serving homeowners, businesses, public bodies and infrastructure organisations.

Equipment and supply

Flood & Water Pumps was created to provide direct access to specialist water-management equipment. Today it supplies pumps and associated products to customers throughout the UK, combining technical knowledge with practical application.

Consultancy

FPS Environmental is the consultancy business. The team provides flood risk, drainage and forensic engineering services across the UK, working for homeowners, developers, local authorities, insurers and commercial organisations. Much of my own technical work now sits here, particularly around complex investigations and strategic advice.
